OSCARS FASHION: THE GORGEOUS, THE BAD, AND THE HIDEOUS

The 79th Academy Awards brought on The Gorgeous, The Bad, and The Hideous. A night so G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S it's hard to imagine that anyone would walk the red carpet in anything less than the best, but alas in order to have the Best Dressed we have to have the Worst Dress too!

Just because someone has a great body, doesn't mean they have great taste. Jessica Biel is wearing Oscar de la Renta but the hot pink and black patent leather belt could easily be mistaken for something off the sale rack at 5-7-9, it does not look elegant.

Hottie Tottie divorcee Reese rocks the red carpet in Nina Ricci (must be her new fave designer because she wore a Nina Ricci design to the Golden Globes too!)

Cate Blanchett was smokin' hot in this metallic Swarovski crystal mesh gown by Giorgio Armani Prive- so modern, so unique, and so stunning.

Penelope Cruz herself said, "This can only be an Oscars gown!" She worked this incredibly glamorous Versace gown on the red carpet and enjoyed every glamorous moment of it.

First time Oscar winner and Cindarella story, Jennifer Hudson also arrived on the Starship Enterprise (this explains the jacket)!

Jennifer Lopez (what happened to J.Lo or is that not an appropriate name at The Oscars?) looked like a gorgeous Grecian goddess in this gown by this year's hottest designer duo Marchesa. She must truly love Marc wearing Dior Homme because he is not a good looking accessory.

Queen Latifah loves her some Carmen Marc Valvo and she should because he makes her look so curvalicious! (Carmen Marc Valvo can be found locally at Saks!)

Though this Zac Posen dress got mixed reviews - I adored it on Gwenyth. The color is so soft and beautiful. And guess where she found it - on the internet!

The next generation Bond Daniel Craig kills in his debonair tux.

The lady in red looked gorgeous in this eye popping Balenciaga shade, but why oh why the big bow!

Et tu Chanel? Our dear Chanel who never disappoints may have been having the worst week ever, why else would they have dressed Kirsten Dunst in this awful, awful gown.

Even the rich, famous, and beautiful do not always prevail with fabulous fashion. So remember when walking the red carpet, choose your gown and designer wisely!
