BIRMINGHAM, EXCELLENT

It wasn't that long ago that Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure captured our adolescent minds. Even though Keanu Reeves may not be known for his acting skills, he certainly maintains his celeb status with Generation X. He became the latest of several celebs to be spotted a Frank Stitt restaurant. Seen Friday night at Highlands Bar and Grill at a corner booth near the bar (a favorite seat of many), Keanu relaxed and enjoyed one of Stitt's fabulous meals after an adrenaline rush filled day at the Porsche Driving School.
The Porsche Driving School is a place where boys who love toys can have some intense racetrack fun and learn how to handle the best of the high performance vehicles. The track, the Barber Motorsports Park, located right outside of Birmingham, has been dubbed the 'Augusta' of racetracks. The course is challenging making it perfect for learning the skill of high performance handling. So if you have $2,000 for the one day course or $3,000 for the two-day and love the power of an engine, make your reservations soon - the courses are typically sold out 5 months in advance. Another fan of Barber Motorsports - McDreamy, Patrick Dempsey.
Reeves joins Courteney Cox, Jennifer Anniston, Will Ferrell, Sasha Cohen, Sandra Bullock, Nicole Richie, and many more famous faces to enjoy Stitt's Southern table. Some have been spotted at Highlands Bar and Grill while others have dined at Bottega, and it only seems appropriate since Stitt's restaurants boast such an incredible dining experience and great knowledgeable service. Plus it helps that Stitt is an award winning chef and has been featured in Gourmet Magazine and The Food Network. Stitt has even cooked with Martha on the Martha Stewart Show, and has received the coveted James Beard Award.
